Bride
I was born in Serbia , just outside Belgrade bought up on my grandparents' farm.... a childhood chasing butterflies and thinking I would become a vetinary doctor.
Wartime challenges, resulted in a move to Denmark at the age of 16 - lots of hard work later, accomplished my dream to study medicine at Oxford - where David and I both studied at the same time....but never met!
30 years later, at an alumini gathering and the magic just happened. Its been a bit of crazy ride...but one that has totally blown me away. It was unexpected but over the last four years we have grown together - argued frequently, made up intensely and realised how lucky we are to have found each other.
I'm looking foward to seeing you all, for a relaxing, wonderful weekend with close friends and family to share our special day.

I was born in Sidcup in the 70's and loved every minute of it. I went to school in South-East London before studying Biochemistry and Medicine at Oxford.
I qualified as a doctor in 2001 gaining my consultancy in 2010 and have worked in Gloucester, Bath, Derby, Nottingham, Huntingdon and Peterborough.
Initially trained as an Acute Physician, I now work in medical intensive care, diagnostic oncology and infectious diseases. I took five years out of medicine to run UGLE returning in 2022 when I met Maya.
It's my pleasure to welcome you to my home for the weekend, which last hosted a wedding in 1868. The photos from that wedding show our Redwood trees slightly taller than a man. They now top 100 feet.
